As ALDRIAN BUSINESS CONSULTING and at dankl+partner consulting gmbh, we support our customers in the topic of “mastering the shortage of skilled workers in the technology sector”.
We are currently working on a compilation of proven approaches / measures. For this purpose, talks are held with educational institutions as well as with selected companies or with people from industry and trade and interest groups who deal with this topic.
Accordingly, I was allowed to be a guest at AK-Steiermark to discuss the topic of “lack of skilled workers and qualification of skilled workers” with Josef Pesserl, President of AK Steiermark and to get his expertise on these topics. Important points of discussion were “the willingness to undertake training”, the approach of the companies to the needs of the employees, “working with the 50+ generation”, up to the funding opportunities.
One funding option is called Top!Job, with which AK and the economic department of the state of Styria support companies on their way into the modern working world. The aim of the funding is to position the companies as attractive employers in order to appeal to new employees.
